Odíhg Jalpècsush (/ˈʤalpɛc/ /suʃ/ [apology] [simple]) is a subtropical Town located in Courtcrest Dutchy, Krièvlùji̊ La Provence, within the Dalandic Empire.

The name Odíhg Jalpècsush is derived from the Tauric language, as Odíhg Jalpècsush was founded by Emdiril Qíhgā, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Odíhg Jalpècsush has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Overview

Odíhg Jalpècsush was founded durring the late 14th century in winter of the year 1278, by Emdiril Qíhgā. The establishment of Odíhg Jalpècsush suffered from many setbacks, delays, and obsticles, most notably a group of Odíhg Jalpècsush which required millitary assistance exterminate before the community could finish being built.

Odíhg Jalpècsush was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Odíhg Jalpècsush is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Odíhg Jalpècsush is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive canals streets which form a diamond shaped grid, where each diamond verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller diamond has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town has a fortified albit thin brick wall. The wall has most of the feeatures of a typical castle wall, just on a much smaller scale and and budget. Notably brick isn't a particuarly soild choice for resisting siege weapons. Odíhg Jalpècsush's wall wouldn't hinder a proper army, but it is more than sufishent for bandits and other small marauding groups. The town's monster and outlaw focused fortifications are visibly old, but also obviously maintained semi-regularly. Its likly the local malishia or garrison are tasked with ocasional mantance of the towns defences.

A look around Odíhg Jalpècsush has something terribly wrong with it. It’s impossible to put one’s finger on, but something is horribly wrong. Maybe it’s the way fog blankets the ground, but only in the connors of places. Maybe it’s the vermin scuttling between shadows in the corner of your eyes. Perhaps it’s the overcast sky which seemed to creep out of nowhere, or the distant howling of wolves. Maybe it’s all of those things together, or perhaps it's the way these elements combine with the simple fact that it is abundantly clear Odíhg Jalpècsush suffered something horrible some time ago. Odíhg Jalpècsush's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is known for its buildings being predominantly formed through the combination of basic geometric shapes. However, it shown in the detailing given to the structures such as its characteristic tall columns, intricate detail, symmetry, harmony, and balance in their designs to an astonishing degree of precision. Decorative elements for the buildings tended to be built into the structure itself, making great use of fluting, frescoes, inlays, and embossing.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century Odíhg Jalpècsush experienced an impossibly long, cold, and stormy winter unlike anything seen before. The worst of the disaster struck The storm coated everything in a thick layer of ice and freezing countless animals, plants, and people to death. Odíhg Jalpècsush lost 259 people, and 239 livestock in the disaster.. The disaster is remembered as the Trepidation Screams, after the sounds of the winds.
